VP of Corporate Development and Strategy
Rafael joined M8 in 2019 with an extensive background in business development and marketing in the pharmaceutical and life science industries. He has worked with leading global companies such as Stryker, LEO Pharma, and Novartis, where he closed some of the largest in-licensing and out-distribution deals in Latin America while part of their Sandoz division. Rafael holds a Bachelor’s in Biology and Spanish from the University of Miami, and an MBA with a focus in International Business from Florida International University. He is passionate about healthcare and volunteers as a strategy and business development mentor for start-ups in the digital healthcare space.
